About Us

Hi, My name is Navpreet but children like to address me as “Ms. Nav”. I have 8 years’ experience of working with different age groups from infants to school agers. I did my Supervision & Administration in early years as well as Early Childhood education diploma from Sheridan College. I also have certification in Autism and Behavioral Sciences. I am passionate about working with kids and want to make a difference in their life with my presence. My philosophy as an educator is to give independence to kids to explore their environment and I think they learn best from their own actions. My focus is on inclusion of each and every child and giving value to their individuality and their interests. I like to spend time with my friends and family, shopping, meeting new people, travelling to new places and watching horror movies. I look forward to share my experience and knowledge with KPNS children and families.

Hello! I'm Mara, I had my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Philippines and graduated from Seneca College took up Early Childhood Education. I've been teaching kindergartens for 5 years and my experience brought my educational philosophy that following children’s interest strengthens their self esteem, confidence, creativity, and memorable learning experiences. Being in the field of early childhood is a two way process because of the learning that I share with them and as the children share their unique ideas and personalities. Nature trekking and trail hopping are my favorite outdoor pastimes while I love watching Korean dramas during cozy weather. My goal as being part of the Kids Palace Nursery School is to continue being passionate about children’s development and keep on providing more learning opportunities for them that is inclusive, diverse, and respond to children’s needs.

Hello! My name is Andres. I am very excited to be part of the kids palace family. I love to teach and play with children. Just a little something about myself. I studied to be an Early Childhood Educator at Sheridan College and I had been in the field for eight years now. I worked with preschoolers most of the time but I feel confident and strong enough to be with any group age. Some of my strenghts are: Being very passionate about what I do , funny and being approachable. I am also an outdoor person who likes biking, jogging, traveling, attending sports events and plays sports as well. The reason to choose this centre is to develop skills that will help me towards a secured future. I love working with kids .I look forward to meeting and working with children, staff and  families of  KPNS.

Hello! My name is Darlene. I am thrilled to be teaching alongside you! Just a little something about myself: I started college right out of high school but unfortunately; my passion is being in a fun environment so I decided to drop out of that program after a year and got some time to reflect on what I really wanted to be. Some of my strengths are: being approachable, funny, adventurous, patient and very good at communicating. After quite some time of reflecting, I decided to go into Early Childhood Education and had been in the field for 3 years now. I worked with Toddlers and Preschoolers during those years and I had an opportunity to see them grow up. The field allows me to work more on my strengths and opportunities and be better. It became a part of my life and I have been working hard ever since. I am also an outdoors person who likes camping, biking and hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. 

Hello, I completed my Post Graduate (Master Degree) study from India in Political Science. In 2009, I moved to England to accomplish my Degree in Childcare Health & Social Care and ICI Numeracy got Distinction. In India, I spend my four years as a teacher. Gardening, Hiking, Shopping, Cleaning, Reading Novel's, Listening Music, Traveling some of my favorite activities. The one of my Reason of becoming a teacher is to make a Significant Contribution to my Community. I always find the opportunity to interact with children from many walks of life & at all stages of Development. In the End, I can say A great Teacher wants to assist students on this journey & play a role in Shaping the person. We all work here as a Family.

Hello, my name is Karanraj. I’m working as an early childhood educator with Kids Palace Nursery school. Since I started my career in early childhood education and it’s been amazing. I completed my diploma in early childhood education field in 2022 from Northern college at Scarborough. I always loved playing with kids at home and in my neighborhood. Watching that hobby turning into career feels wonderful. Starting my every morning with beautiful little smiles, making art projects, playing games, and singing poems through out the day doesn’t even let me feel that I’m at my job place. I enjoy everyday and every moment working with kids at Kids Palace Nursery school.

My name is Alina. I am from Ukraine. I have 8 years of teaching experience and have also volunteered in Canada at a Montessori childcare center. I have also recently completed the Teacher's Assistant course to update my knowledge in the field. My diploma from Ukraine has been confirmed by WES to a master's degree. I gained a lot of knowledge working with both toddlers and school-age children. I am very happy to work with children, to see their smiles and sincere emotions. I like to read books with children because books open up the world to us, I like to play with children because children show emotions in the activities, I like to create with children because they create with their souls. My goal is to create a safe, positive, friendly environment for learning and development. I am very happy to be a part of the Kids Palace professionals!

Hello, my name is Uma. I am an Early Childhood Assistant working with Kids Palace Nursery School for the last 8 years.I am a postgraduate in Economics. I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant & Lunch Time Supervisor in peel school board. I enjoy working with all the children and my passion is my plants and kids. I love to do art projects and science experiments. I love to see the smiling faces of the kids early in the morning. The young children remind me of how amazing the world is and knowing you have contributed to a nice childhood is so rewarding. I love telling stories and seeing the excitement in their eyes as they listen. Their questions also motivates me to think creatively about new ways to do things. I enjoy working with the KPNS team.

Hello, my name is Manpreet Kaur. I am working as an Early Childhood Assistant with Kids Palace Nursery School. I am a graduate of St. Clair College. I have a diploma as a Social Service Worker. I love to work with kids, I enjoy the way they talk and learn new words and I like to know each of them individually.
Working with young children is a nurturing profession. The love and care you show children today will shape how they treat others for the rest of their lives and I am proud to be part of this noble cause. My hobbies are travelling, spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to share and learn new things with KPNS.

Hello, I am the cook and an ECA at KPNS. I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. In my home country, I have 12 years experience working with children. I am a diploma graduate of St. Mary's house of children. I also have a degree in Montessori. I have a food Handler's certificate as well. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, go on long drives, walks and watching NBA basketball with my family. I also like to cook and try new recipes with my kids. From a young age, I've had a passion for cooking and teaching. It is not only a job for me but it's something I love to do in my everyday life. I am proud to be a team member of the KPNS, and I hope to share my experience with everyone at KPNS.

Hello, My name is Shan Yu, and I am an early childhood assistant at Kids Palace Nursery School. I graduated from North American College in 2012.  I have over 10 years of experience working as an ECA in Canada and over 11 years of experience working as a Childcare Worker in China. I am able to communicate in 3 languages: English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Korean. I have gained extensive knowledge working with both toddlers and school-age children over the years, I have also worked in before and after-school programs. I love helping children explore new interests through fun activities such as singing/dancing games and preparing new arts and crafts that highlight children’s creativity. There is no joy like working with children and seeing them smile. My goal is to always provide a positive, safe and nurturing environment for the children to learn and grow. I am very excited to start this new chapter with the Kids Palace Nursery School team!
